We’re back with a full complement of games this weekend. Let’s look at the games.

Division one’s big clash is between championship hopefuls Rottenrow and Western 3rd XI. The two sides will be keen for all three points early in the season. Glasgow University 3rd XI will be hoping to put last week’s defeat behind them as they head to Hermitage Academy to take on Helensburgh. It’s a local derby in Hillhead, as the two sides, the 5s and 4s, play on Friday at Old Anniesland. The other matches see Clydesdale 3rd XI host Kelburne 3rd XI and Giffnock travel to Clydesdale 4th XI.

Ayr and Western 4th XI have had a slow start to division two this year, but both will be keen on getting on track for the season as they come head-to-head at Doonside on Saturday. Kelburne 4th XI have only had the one league game this season and will hope that the mid-week cup game doesn’t prove their undoing as they head to the national hockey centre to take on Rottenrow 2nd XI. GHK will be looking to continue their good start, attempting to make it four wins from four against Strathclyde University 2nd XI. Elsewhere, Uddingston 3rd XI host Greenock 2nd XI and Uddingston 4th XI go to Hillhead 6th XI.

Division three has a full five fixtures this weekend with Rottenrow 3rd XI finally playing their first match of the season. They host Giffnock 2nd XI at the national hockey centre at 16:40. League leaders Clydesdale 5th XI will travel through to Uddingston 5th for their match, whilst Hillhead 7th XI host Dumfries 2nd XI. Promotion hopefuls Anchor entertain Hillhead 8th XI. Clydesdale 6th XI go to Helensburgh 2nd XI to round of the day’s fixtures.
